CONCLUSION
For the reason given above I find that the reasoning in CAE and SFU governs CMAW’s application and precludes its success. Accordingly, CMAW’s application is dismissed.

CMAW has no jurisdiction on CHC AHC jobsites.

what this means in any language is a ton of our money was pissed away like usual, on a losing battle against us the rank n file of the bc provincial council. lets take our union back from these whores!!!!!!!

The battle has not necessarily been futile. The LRB decision is being appealed and I like our chances. The Shipbuilders have successfully moved a poly party certification into CMAW Local 506 and are in good position to move another one in shortly. Once the CHC reconsideration goes through all our building trades troubles will be behind us.
